Michael Zichelle Jr. Obituary

Michael A. Zichelle Jr., 73, of Hubbardston, MA, passed away peacefully at home on February 17, 2026, surrounded by his loving family, just one day shy of his 74th birthday. Born on February 18, 1952, in Fitchburg, MA, Michael was raised in the community that remained close to his heart throughout his life.

Michael graduated with the Class of 1970 from Fitchburg High School and went on to attend Saint Anselm College, where he studied Liberal Arts. In his younger years, he found joy on the water, building his first boat at age 17. A 26‑foot cruising sailboat he constructed in his parents’ front yard. An early expression of his determination, resourcefulness, and hands‑on talent.

Michael was the founder and owner of Titan Industrial, a structural steel fabrication business based in Fitchburg. He devoted his full effort to his work and held himself to the highest standards. His commitment to precision and reliability earned him the respect of colleagues and clients alike, and he was regarded by those who worked with him as dependable, meticulous, and steadfast. His work stands as a testament to his exceptional skill, attention to detail, and the deep pride he took in everything he built.

He loved spending summer days at Salisbury Beach with his family, looked forward to their Sundays spent bowling, and enjoyed frequent weekend trips to the movie theater. Michael was the biggest supporter of his children’s endeavors, and that same unwavering devotion extended to his grandchildren. He was the epitome of unconditional love, and there was truly nothing he wouldn’t do for them.

Michael is survived by his loving partner, Paulette Carroll of Hubbardston; his daughter, Jennifer Zichelle of Fitchburg; his son, Michael Zichelle and his wife, Nicole, of Fitchburg, and his former wife, Linda Zichelle of Fitchburg. He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren, Mya and Owen, who brought immense pride and happiness to his life.

He is survived by his sisters, Mona Zichelle and Maria (Charles) Sjostedt; his brothers, Peter (Elizabeth) Zichelle and John (Gretchen) Zichelle; his cherished nieces and nephews, extended family members and dear friends.

Michael was predeceased by his father, Michael A. Zichelle Sr., and his mother, Concetta M.(Dandini) Zichelle.

Michael will be remembered for his steady devotion, his generous spirit, and the deep love he had for his family. His legacy of hard work, integrity, and abiding love will live on in all who knew him.
